Our Return Policy

If the new puppy owner finds the puppy unsuitable for their home and returns it within four (4) months of the pickup date, Country Lane Retrievers will refund 50% of the purchase price, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

If at any time the new puppy owner cannot or chooses not to continue caring for the puppy/dog, it must be returned to Country Lane Retrievers. The new puppy owner may not resell, rehome, give away, or surrender the dog to any shelter, rescue, or third party.

Before any refund is issued, the dog must receive a full health examination by a licensed veterinarian at Country Lane Retrievers’ expense. This includes a fecal sample provided by the new puppy owner and tested for internal parasites. The exam must confirm the dog is healthy, free of contagious illness, untreated injury, and signs of neglect. The new puppy owner must also provide complete veterinary records and proof of up-to-date vaccinations appropriate for the dog’s age.

No refund will be provided if the dog is returned sick, injured, neglected, if the veterinarian cannot complete the examination, or if required veterinary records are missing or incomplete.

At the time of return, the new puppy owner must provide all veterinary records, vaccination proof, registration/microchip information, and the veterinary receipt(s) for the exam and fecal test in order for Country Lane Retrievers to reimburse those costs
