Country Lane Retrievers guarantee that all puppies have all the treatments and vaccinations required, recorded on their vet record. There is no guarantee on your puppy’s full mature size or behavior.

Health Guarantee (72 hours)

It is recommended to ensure the health and wellbeing of your puppy by getting a second health examination from your vet. Country Lane Retrievers will provide a replacement puppy of the same value if the puppy is diagnosed with a life-threatening congenital defect so severe that it requires the puppy to be euthanized. This involves the heart, liver, kidneys, and eyes. This does not include minor health problems and flaws like stress-induced hypoglycemia, coccidia, giardia, worms, pneumonia, kennel cough, negligence, skin or tissue problems, allergies, or anything else that can be linked to many environmental factors out of the breeder’s control. You must let us know the day of the examination to claim your replacement puppy. The breeder is not responsible for covering the euthanasia process. If you choose euthenasia without confirming with us, the guarantee is voided. 

Hip and Elbow Guarantee (1 year – only if your dog is fed on 4 Strong Paws) 

If a certified vet has diagnosed your puppy with severe hip or elbow dysplasia and determines that it needs to be euthanized, the breeder will replace this puppy with one of the same value up to the age of 1 year. We must be shown proof of the diagnosis from the veterinarian with a written and signed evaluation. We are not responsible for any expenses concerning this process. You must let us know the day of the examination to claim your replacement puppy. If you choose euthenasia without confirming with us, the guarantee is void. You also must be able to show proof that your dog has been fed 4 Strong Paws dog food.
