Here at Country Lane Retrievers, we believe we’ve been given an incredible opportunity and purpose – to raise healthy, balanced Golden Retrievers with sound temperaments. Our goal is to provide families with thoughtfully bred dogs that are dependable, intelligent, and loving – whether as family companions or dedicated service and therapy partners.

We’ve been proudly breeding Golden Retrievers since 2013, when we welcomed our first Golden Retriever, Carman. From that moment, our passion for the breed only grew. Over the years, we’ve gained extensive experience in genetics, training, dog behavior, and grooming – allowing us to raise well – rounded dogs with excellent temperaments and strong, healthy foundations. We take great pride in what we do and in every puppy that goes home with a new family.

Breeding for Health & Temperament

We breed our all our retrievers with good health and family oriented temperament in mind. You can be confident knowing your new family member is healthy and happy.

CKC Registered

Country Lane Retrievers are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) which is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Canada.

DNA Health Tested

We give all our retrievers a Embark health screening which tests for 170+ genetic diseases. Ensuring you get no unfortunate surprises down the road.

OFA

A genetic screening that evaluates the parent dogs for specific inheritable disorders, giving them a stamp of approval for those conditions.

Breeding Since 2013

We have been breeding golden retrievers since 2013 when we got our first golden retriever Carman! Ever since, we’ve been passionate about breeding strong healthy dogs with excellent temperaments and amazing genetic backgrounds. Knowing the importance of genetics, we also believe raising our dogs with love and care is just as important and we take pride in that. Throughout the years, there has been a lot of experience gained from grooming dogs, working at dog boarding and training facilities.
