Our Return Policy

If the new owner finds the puppy unfit for their home and wants to return it within 4 months, the breeder is only required to give back 50% of their money. This does not include the deposit. If the owner wants to return the puppy to the breeder after the 4 month period, the breeder isn’t required to give any money back.

If for whatever reason the owner finds they are unable to care for the Country Lane puppy/dog they are REQUIRED to bring back the puppy/dog to Country Lane Retrievers. DO NOT resell the puppy/dog to someone else and DO NOT bring it to a shelter. 

When buying a puppy, all buyers should be aware of and fully prepared for this long-term responsibility. The breeder is not responsible for the puppy once it’s been living at its new home and what it has or hasn’t been exposed to. Proper training and socialization are important for the puppy’s wellbeing.
